DLA Distribution recognizes Earth Day, commitment to environmental stewardship

Monday, April 22, 2024, is the 54th anniversary of Earth Day and a time to celebrate the Defense Logistics Agency Distribution commitment to protecting our environment and contributing to DLA's sustainability strategy.

All this week we'll be publishing information that brings awareness to environmental issues facing the planet and their impacts. Some of those topics include reducing plastic pollution, danger of microplastics, climate change and how people can make small changes to live more sustainably.

Employee are also encouraged to check with their host environmental offices to find out more about local events or learn more about the Department of Defense Efforts to tackle climate change
