Celebration of the International Navruz Holiday in Geneva

On April 11, 2024, in the coordination of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Tajikistan to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva with the participation of the Navruz constituency countries, including Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Turkiye, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and India, a festive event dedicated to the International Day of Navruz was held.

The Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the UN Office and other international Organizations in Geneva, Sharaf Sheralizoda, as the coordinator of the International Navruz 2024, participated and delivered a speech to congratulate the participants of the event on the occasion of Navruz, told about the history and importance of the ancient holiday of our ancestors in the revival and preservation of the identity and national values of Tajikistan and the region of Navruz.
