Bao'an District of Shenzhen municipality and Lilium partner for eVTOL service in China

Paris, France, June 19, 2023: The Bao'anDistrict of Shenzhen municipality and Lilium N.V. (NASDAQ: LILM), developer of the first all-electric vertical take-off and landing ("eVTOL") jet, havesigned a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the opening of a regional Lilium headquartersin Bao'anDistrictas a first step ina partnership to establish a safe and sustainable eVTOLservice in Chinawith the LiliumJet.The collaboration will initially focus onthe Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with a population of over 85 millionpeople,withplans togrow acrossChina and the broader Asia-Pacific region.

Thegoal of theregional headquartersis torepresentLilium in China and the Asia-Pacific region and to facilitateLilium Jetsales, services, and support in the area. The Bao'anDistrict's extensiveregional knowledgewill benefitLiliumas the two parties buildthe foundation for premium eVTOLoperations in the Greater Bay Area, including defining launch routes, use cases, and other logisticsrelated tothe Lilium Jet's entry into service.
