DALLAS - Dallas ISD will receive a $570,000 check from NRG Energy as part of their Responsive Economic Dispatch program, which rewards participants for reducing energy use. These funds will support school improvement projects at no additional cost to the district. Media is invited to the check presentation at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 18, at the William H. Cotton Service Center.

Superintendent's Scholarship applications are now open
Students are invited to apply to the 2025 Superintendent's Scholarship, which awards $3,000 to graduating seniors to support their higher education goals. The deadline to apply is Thursday, March 6.
