Free Pop-Up art events in Mission Viejo to help fuel your creativity

The Mission Viejo Friends of the Arts is hosting three Pop-Up Art events over the next few weeks for the community to enjoy.

The first Pop-Up is on Saturday, January 28 from 10 am to 1 pm at the Potocki Center for the Arts, 27301 La Paz Rd. The Pop-Up will be located by the European Bear. You will create a paper mosaic and learn how the bears along the trail were created. You can also take a walk along the Upper Oso Creek Trail to enjoy the bears.

The next Pop-Up is on Sunday, February 5 from 10 am to 1 pm at Pavion Park, 24051 Pavion. Come and paint your own "Kool Kat" with local artist Jack Knight.

The final Pop-Up is on Saturday, February 11 from 10 am to 1 pm at Florence Joyner Olympiad Park, 22760 Olympiad Road. Let your creative juices flow as you create a painted heart just in time for Valentine's Day.

All Pop-Ups are free to attend and participate in. The Friends rotate ideas and locations for these events to include more people in the creative process.
