Moderna and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine boosters will be available Oct. 27

Gundersen Health System will provide boosters of the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson (J&J) COVID-19 vaccine to newly eligible groups starting Oct. 27, 2021, at all locations that provide the vaccines.

In addition, patients and non-patients who already received the COVID-19 vaccine at Gundersen can safely receive their booster from a different manufacturer, based on guidance from federal health experts. Gundersen welcomes those who were vaccinated at another location, although proof of vaccination is required for a booster.
