Boston Police Street Outreach Unit Starts People First Boxing Class

Ever heard of active recovery?

In a collaboration with the Phoenix, the Boston Police Street Outreach Unit has started 'People First Boxing'

This active boxing class takes place weekly on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at the Phoenix, located at 54 Newmarket Square, Boston.

The Phoenix's mission is to build a sober active community. The classes are open to those recovering from substance use disorder, people who are choosing to live a sober lifestyle, and friends/allies of the sober mission. All events are free. Members must be over 18 years of age and with at least 48 hours of sobriety
