59000 block of County Road 380, Geneva twp

Narrative:

Sheriff Daniel E Abbott reports that Deputies were dispatched to the 59000 block of CR380 for a report of a breaking and entering in progress. The caller was reporting that he witnessed two unknown subjects going in and out of a barn on the neighboring property. While Deputies were in route to the address the subjects left in a vehicle and the caller gave the vehicle description and direction of travel. A Deputy was able to locate the suspect vehicle and conduct a traffic stop. The two occupants were identified and interviewed and property from the incident location was observed with the vehicle. Both subjects did admit to being at the location and taking property without permission. Both were arrested and lodged at the Van Buren County Jail on the charge of breaking and entering.
