Lane Closure Advisory for the SR 400 Bridge Replacements
WHAT: Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) construction partners will close lanes at the locations below for the State Route (SR) 400 Bridge Replacements, which will widen and replace three bridges over SR 400 - Pitts Road, Roberts Drive, and Kimball Bridge Road. The lane closures are necessary for overhang removal and paving.

NOTE: Detour information is shown in red text.

April 29, 2024, through May 3, 2024, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Daily)
  • Roberts Drive over SR 400
  • Pitts Road near Colquitt Road intersection
Nighttime Flagging

May 1, 2024, through May 3, 2024, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Nightly)
  • Roberts Drive over SR 400
Nighttime Closures

April 28, 2024 - 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Overnight)
  • SR 400 northbound and southbound: Multiple-lane closures and pacing at Roberts Drive and Kimball Bridge Road overpasses
April 29, 2024, through May 3, 2024 - 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Nightly)
  • SR 400 northbound and southbound: Multiple-lane closures and pacing at Roberts Drive and Kimball Bridge Road overpasses
May 3, 2024 - 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. (Overnight)
  • SR 400 northbound and southbound: Multiple-lane closures and pacing at Roberts Drive and Kimball Bridge Road overpasses

Advisory: Exact time may change due to weather conditions. Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, stay alert, and watch for workers.
