The Phillips Collection, America's first museum of modern art located in Dupont Circle will offer American Sign Language tours and programs.
On February 15, 2018, 6:30 p.m., Elsa Smithgall, curator of Ten Americans: After Paul Klee, will discuss Paul Klee's impact on American artists featured in the exhibition and his importance within the history of The Phillips Collection. This Curator's Perspective will also be offered in American Sign Language (ASL).
The Phillips Collection will offer ASL interpreters on selected Thursday evening gallery talks. The ASL integrated talks will take place twice a month, on the second and fourth Thursdays of March and April (March 8 and 22; and, April 12 and 26) at 6 and 7 p.m.
