Winter school vacation brings a lot of fun to kids and youth

There are a lot of things to do during the vacation week for children of different ages and whole families. After the outdoor activities it is nice to take part in the indoor games and events. There are a lot of free programs coming.

Kuntolaakso and Lippumäki swimming halls start the holiday week with Kaukon uinti - event on Friday 3.3., when Kuopion Energia offers free swimming for everyone. Under 18 years old visitors can swim for free in Kuntolaakso and Lippumäki swimming pools from Monday to Friday 6.-10.3. Water jumping tower and water track Wibit are available in Kuntolaakso.
Under 18 years old visitors may exercise in Kuopio Hall for free from Monday to Thursday 6.-9.3. from 8 am till 4 pm (gymnastics area is chargeable).

There are enough things to see at Kuopio museum`s exhibitions even for the whole day. There are short guided tours coming for children, where they can get to know the Mammoth and a smoke cottage.
In the main library`s Lego workshop children can take part in Lego town`s building.
Kuopio Art Museum will also arrange some workshops and active guided tours. Visitors under 18 years old can get for free to Kuopio City museums, to Orthodox Church Museum RIISA and to VB Photographic Center.

In the program of winter vacation week everyone can find something special, such as circus, handicrafts, sports, design, animal care, baking and cooking. Youth Centers offer a lot of programs too, such as baking, painting, escape room, workshops and trips.
