Abstract

This issue's Message from the Administrator and top story highlight Youth Justice Action Month and OJJDP's focus on keeping young people out of confinement and in their communities. Additional stories feature input from youth for OJJDP's Preventing Youth Hate Crimes & Identity-Based Bullying Initiative, a new OJJDP program emphasizing collaborative approaches between schools and community-based organizations to deter violent crime, and a podcast series by the Office's Tribal Youth Resource Center focusing on Native youth at risk for running away or victimization.
