Capital Governor praises authority partnership in Ashura season

His Excellency Capital Governor Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman bin Rashid Al Khalifa praised the efforts of the security and service authorities throughout the Ashura season for following the directives implemented by the Cabinet headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister who provided all the necessary contributions for the events. The Governor also praised the follow-up and attention of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to ensure the success of Ashura season .

The Capital Governor along with Deputy Capital Governor Hassan Abdullah Al Madani and Director- General of the Capital Governorate Police Directorate Brigadier Ibrahim Saif Bakheet Al Najran paid a visit to Bab- Al- Bahrain police station and inspected the Ashora processions in Manama as part of the Governorates efforts to follow-up on the Ashura season in an atmosphere of security, order and health. He was also briefed on the progress of security, organisational and service efforts. He stressed on the cooperation and coordination between the various authorities that positively reflected on the smooth running of the Hussainiya Processions in Manama.

The Governor chaired two meetings in this month with the security and service authorities, Jaffariya Awqaf Directorate, The Hussainiya Processions Authority and the heads of funerals and processions with the aim of a productive partnership for the success of the Ashura season in addition to attending the opening of Imam Hussain Clinic in Manama.
