Fox Racing have released their latest MIPS-equipped mountain bike helmet to the range. The new Mainframe helmet, inspired by their popular Speedframe helmet, brings competition-level features at a competitive price.
As a global leader in mountain bike apparel, Fox have taken advancements and developments from their popular Speedframe helmet to offer an impressive array of features to the Mainframe.
Constructed from Fox's in-mould EPS design, the Mainframe sees a shock-absorbing inner EPS foam covered by a tough polycarbonate outer. Should you crash the EPS foam soaks up and dissipates the damaging forces of the impact with a tough outer shell to fend off tree branches and small knocks.
Also adopting the proven Multi-directional Impact Protection System (MIPS), the Mainframe helmet will protect your head by reducing rotational forces in a crash allowing a sliding movement of 10-15mm, absorbing and redirecting that energy and force which otherwise would be transmitted to the brain causing injuries. Extra coverage is also provided at the rear of the helmet for added safety.
The Fox Mainframe helmet also features a removable, washable, and moisture-wicking liner that is adapted to keep your head cool, dry, and comfortable. Combine these features with the large vents on the helmet which provide a constant stream of air to flow around the helmet providing efficient cooling on long rides.
The Mainframe comes in three adult sizes - small, medium, large and includes a dedicated Youth size retaining all the features of the adult helmet in a smaller size.
