Happy Flag Day from the KGI Online Library

Happy Flag Day!
Today the State Library is pleased to share an old oldie but goldie booklet published over 100 years ago celebrating the flag and the meanings behind it. This little tome, found on the virtual shevles of the State Library's KGI Online Library, was issued by the Grand Army of the Republic and the Kansas Woman's Relief Corps in 1917 just as the U.S. was entering World War I. It is full of poetry, song lyrics, etc.
