Nominees announced for the Northern Business Awards 2024

Nominees for this year's awards

THIS year the Black Tie Gala Dinner & Presentation Evening will be held at Grimsby Auditorium on Friday 16th May. Headline sponsors and partners of the Awards are Phillips 66. Our Dinner Sponsor will be Andrew Jackson Solicitors and Ellgia will once again act as our Patron Sponsor.

Entries for this year have been judged and the three nominees in each category chosen. All that remains is to see who are the outright winners of the 12 awards that can be applied for and who will be joint runners-up in each category. Our ultimate accolade will be the Forrester Boyd Business of the Year. It cannot be entered for but instead is chosen by the judges and awarded to the most outstanding entry. Who will be announced winner in 2024? All will be revealed on the night.

The Chamber President Kirk Akdemir will be making a key note speech on the evening. Kirk commented "We are all looking forward to this highlight of the south bank business calendar and getting ready to applaud business excellence across the board of our local businesses and organisations. We look forward to celebrating with businesses that show aptitude and success in their respective sectors".

As well as a glittering Awards ceremony, Courtesy Drinks Reception and 'Jungle' themed Canapes, a three course quality Dinner will be catered by Steve Bennett of The Lincolnshire Chef. Guests will also enjoy an After Dinner Show, based on the musical 'The Lion King', performed by both professional West End performers and local students from both Grimsby Institute and North Lindsey College. The evening will be hosted by Richard Askam.

Time to look out those posh frocks and bow ties and book now to be part of the celebrations! Any business person or company can attend to enjoy the evening and network.
