Divine Liturgy dedicated to the 109th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide was held in the Cathedral of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel of Bucharest

On 21 April, a Divine Liturgy dedicated to the 109th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide and commemoration of the canonized victims of the Genocide was held in the Cathedral of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel of Bucharest.

The religious ceremony was led by His Grace Bishop Datev Hagopian, Primate of the Armenian Church Diocese of Romania and followed by a wreath-laying ceremony.

The event was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Romania, Tigran Galstyan, accompanied by the entire team of the Embassy, the President of the Union of Armenians in Romania, Varujan Vosganian, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Bucharest, members of the Armenian community and public figures.

The ceremony was followed by a literary event organized by the Union of Armenians in Romania to commemorate the Armenian Genocide, during which works of prominent Armenian writers Daniel Varujan, Paruyr Sevak, Siamanto and Ruben Sevak were presented.
