Amsterdam is back with daily nonstop service from TPA aboard Delta Air Lines

Tampa International Airport and Delta Air Lines are proud to welcome nonstop seasonal service to Amsterdam back to Tampa Bay starting this fall.

The route is scheduled to start October 26 and run through March 29, 2025, giving Tampa Bay travelers access to a major European hub. Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport is home to KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Delta's trans-Atlantic partner and a member of the SkyTeam alliance.

The daily flights will be available for sale Saturday, May 4, on Delta's website.

"We're grateful to Delta for creating a prime European connection through this nonstop service to Amsterdam, which we know will be popular with both Tampa Bay area residents and European travelers looking to experience our sunshine, beaches and other attractions this winter," Airport CEO Joe Lopano said."We're looking forward to supporting the route and continuing a strong partnership with Delta, which always provides a world-class experience for our passengers."

TPA last offered Delta seasonal nonstop service to Amsterdam in 2019, and travelers have clamored for its return ever since.

Delta will fly the route aboard a 282-seat Airbus A330-300, featuring 34 lie-flat seats in its premium Delta One seating, 21 Delta Premium Select seats with wider cushions and more legroom, and 2-4-2 seating in the Comfort+ and Economy sections. Inbound flights are scheduled to arrive in Tampa during the afternoons and depart for Amsterdam about four hours later for a morning arrival in the Netherlands.

The nonstop flights from TPA will provide travelers with connections to nearly 100 destinations in the KLM network in Europe and beyond, to destinations like Delhi, Mumbai, Dubai, Nairobi and more.

Amsterdam has been a targeted destination for TPA as the Airport continues to grow its nonstop trans-Atlantic service in partnership with local convention and visitors bureaus, economic development organizations and business partners. These routes open Tampa Bay to expanded tourism and business opportunities, with a potential $107 million economic impact on the region, according to some estimates.
