NORTH PORT-As North Port's budget season continues, there is another opportunity to give input on the process on May 7.

At both 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., residents are invited to attend in person for a Community Budget Input Meeting in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall, 4970 City Hall Blvd. It will also be streamed live on YouTube and Facebook.

Residents can ask questions in person or submit a comment on the livestream. Staff will work to address as many questions as possible live.

Aside from the input meetings, there are several other options for residents to get involved:

Budget Tool: Use the budget tool to allocate $100 into the categories that mean most to you. These results will be shared with City Commissioners and staff as they continue working through the budget process.

Budget Workshops: The City Commission Budget Workshops will be held this summer before a budget is adopted this fall. Public comment and participation are always welcome. Comments can be submitted via voicemail, email, or in person.

Performance Dashboards: View performance dashboards for various City Departments to track their progress toward their goals.

Budget email: Share your budget feedback or ask a question by emailing [email protected].
