Dasgupta Speaks at Executive Branch Review Conference

On April 16, Taft Partner Sohan Dasgupta, Ph.D., spoke at the Executive Branch Review Conference in Washington, D.C. Dasgupta discussed the national security powers and responsibilities of the Executive Branch. Additional panelists included The Honorable Mark Brnovich, the former Attorney General of Arizona, and Professor Ilya Somin of George Mason University's Law School. The Honorable Beth Williams, former Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Policy at DOJ, moderated the discussion. The event was sponsored by the Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies.

Dasgupta is a strategic and experienced problem-solver representing clients before the U.S. Supreme Court, federal and state appellate and trial courts, government agencies, state legislatures, and Congress. His practice includes trial and appellate litigation, public law, investigations, regulatory and compliance matters, and international disputes. Dasgupta served as the Deputy General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and as Special Counsel of the U.S. Department of Education.
