Contractor Conducting Water System Leak Survey through May

Residents will be seeing the City's contractor, Consulting Engineering Incorporated, through the end of May as they conduct the City's annual water system leak survey.

Beginning Thursday, May 2, the contractor will be using listening devices on fire hydrants and valves to determine if there are leaks in our water system. Staff will be in marked vehicles as shown on this web page and will have appropriate identification. Locations include Main Street, Prince Crossing, Easton Avenue, and Washington Street.

If residents have questions or concerns, please contact the City's Public Works Department. If suspicious activity is noticed that does not correlate with this activity, please contact the West Chicago Police Department.
