Temporary Partial Road Closure on Southwest 61st Avenue

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

APRIL 13, 2024

DAVIE, Fla. - The Town of Davie's Engineering Division is conducting a partial road closure along SW 61st Avenue from Orange Drive north to SW 41st Court. The closure will take place overnight on April 16, 2024, at 9 p.m. to April 17, 2024, at 5 a.m. The closure is necessary to complete the construction of a waterline via pipe-bursting.

Please note that traffic will be detoured to Davie Road and motorists will need to adhere to the detour signage posted. Both lanes of traffic will be closed to thru traffic and only local traffic and public safety personnel will be allowed to utilize the road during the construction.

Commuters are advised to anticipate delays and use the alternative route provided. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience as the Town completes the project improvements.
