Hundreds of UW Oshkosh students and alumni, and more than 180 employers and organizations eager to engage Titan talent, were inside Kolf Sports Center Wednesday for the UWO 2024 Internship and Career Fair.

The fair is a signature for UWO and one of the Universities of Wisconsin's largest opportunities for future and current graduates to explore potential career paths and network.
"We believe that the Internship & Career Fair holds significant value for UWO students across all majors and school years," said Jaime Page-Stadler, UWO Director of Career & Professional Development. "It serves as a platform for exploring future opportunities and gaining valuable insights into various industries."
For students, the Internship and Career Fair allows face-to-face, real-time connections with employers regional, state and national employers seeking the talent they need. It also offers students and alumni opportunities to network with professionals, attend workshops and perfect their personal pitches.
Samantha Maldanado
Sophomore economics major, Samantha Maldanado, said she stopped to talk with representatives of banks and financial institutions. The Manitowoc native was planning for an internship she's seeking for summer 2025. Maldanado said she is hoping for a role as a credit analyst.
The Internship and Career Fair is another positive force in strengthening UWO's new and recent alumni success metrics. Graduates of the 2021-22 class posted impressive outcomes, according to UWO's most recent "First Destination" report:
