Studio71 production to premiere on The Roku Channel this summer

SAN JOSE, Calif. - March 28, 2024 - Today, Roku, America's #1 TV streaming platform*, announced the greenlight of the Roku Original feature "The Real Bros of Simi Valley: High School Reunion," which will stream exclusively on The Roku Channel this summer. The film is a continuation of the beloved original series, co-created by Jimmy Tatro and Christian Pierce, that became a social media phenomenon generating over a billion views across video platforms. "The Real Bros of Simi Valley: High School Reunion" will bring the "bros" - Jimmy Tatro, Nick Colletti, Tanner Petulla, Cody Ko - back together for a new, hilarious adventure. Christian Pierce also returns as Aldis.

With their 10-year high school reunion around the corner, Xander (Tatro) and his squad (Colletti, Petulla, Ko) embark on a journey to become the dopest versions of themselves in time to flex on all of their old classmates.

"We came up with the idea for this movie back when we were writing season three of the show, so we're super excited to finally bring it to life," said co-creators Jimmy Tatro and Christian Pierce. "One simply cannot make a show about a group of friends who peaked in high school without highlighting an event as monumental as their 10-year reunion."

"The bros are back and as ridiculously hilarious as ever, in this new Roku Original comedy feature from Jimmy, Christian, and team," said Brian Tannenbaum, Head of Originals, Roku Media. "With this latest project, Roku Originals continues our commitment to championing breakout comedy features from top talent, for our millions of streamers to enjoy for free."

"With millions of loyal fans, 'Real Bros' has cracked the code on how to connect with viewers through its innovative storytelling and groundbreaking social media campaign," said Michael Schreiber, Producer, Studio71. "First as a series and now as a film, with Roku's support, Jimmy and Christian are raising the bar yet again. We can't wait to re-engage with our diehard audience."

"The Real Bros of Simi Valley: High School Reunion" is produced by Studio71, with Michael Schreiber serving as producer and Adam Boorstin as executive producer. The film is written by Jimmy Tatro and Christian Pierce and directed by Jimmy Tatro. Morgan Pichinson oversees the project on behalf of Roku Originals.
