Full car parks and additional trains for the game against Frankfurt

When BVB go up against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday, an increased volume of traffic and full car parks are to be expected. The Intermodellbau fair and a Helene Fischer concert are taking place in the neighbouring Halls of Westphalia. The local public transport network is laying on additional trains. Plus, unscheduled stops at the stadium will complement the scheduled transport.

Arrival

An additional Eurobahn train will run from Hamm via Bönen, Unna, Holzwickede, Do.-Sölde, Do.-Aplerbeck and Do.-Hörde on 18/03/2023, departing at 16:06 and arriving at Do.-Signal Iduna Park at 16:36.

The Regionalexpress (RE) 57 from Bestwig (via Meschede, Freienohl, Oeventrop, Arnsberg, Wickede, Fröndenberg) will make unscheduled stops at Do.-Signal Iduna Park on Saturday at 16:16, 17:16 and 18:16. On the return journey from Do.-Hbf, the RE 57 will make unscheduled stops at Do.-Signal Iduna Park at 16:46 and 17:46.

A new service on offer since December 2022 is the connection from Siegen (via Kreuztal, Kirchhundem, Lennestadt, Finnentrop, Plettenberg, Werdohl, Altena, Letmathe and Witten) with the RE 34, departing for example from Siegen at 14:08 and arriving at Do.-Hbf at 15:59 and departing from Siegen at 16:08 and arriving at Do.-Hbf at 18:04.

Regular services will run to Do.-Hbf from the direction of Münster/Coesfeld/Lünen and Hamm/Kamen.

Departure

Additional train services will depart Do.-Signal Iduna Park at 20:54 and 21:00 towards Hamm (via Do.-Hörde, Do.-Aplerbeck, Do.-Sölde, Holzwickede, Unna and Bönen) and at 21:05 towards Paderborn (via Do.-Hörde, Do.-Aplerbeck, Do.-Sölde, Holzwickede, Unna, Werl, Soest, Bad Sassendorf, Lippstadt, Geseke, Salzkotten and Scharmede).

The RE 57 will make an unscheduled stop at Do.-Signal Iduna Park at 20:46 for the onward journey towards Bestwig (via Do.-Hörde, Do.-Aplerbeck-Süd, Fröndenberg, Wickede, Arnsberg, Oeventrop, Freienohl and Meschede).

An additional DB train will depart from Do.-Signal Iduna Parl to Do-Hbf at 21:06 (arriving at 21:11).

An additional DB train will depart Do.-Hbf. for Lünen at 21:14 (arriving at 21:30).

Regular services from Do.-Hbf will run towards Münster/Coesfeld/Lünen, Schwerte/Iserlohn, Witten/Plettenberg/Kreuztal/Siegen and Hamm/Kamen.

In addition to the entry ticket, holders of a Print@Home ticket or a mobile ticket (Apple Wallet) must carry a DSW21 travel card with them in order to use the VRR, WestfalenTarif, VRS, AVV (second class) on the day of the match.
