TICKETS: $10/advance $12/door - 1 hour before show

"We are thrilled to be partnering with the High School to create a feeder program for the musical theater program," said Kiley Scherer, Parks and Recreation Director. "This is our first year of the Middleton Youth Theatre program and we cannot wait for the community to experience all of the creativity these kids and our staff have been cultivating over the past 5 weeks."

This musical is just like the movie. A young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home behind and live in the world above the sea. She will first have to defy her father, King Triton. Then make a deal with Ursula, the evil sea witch. Lastly, she will have to convince Prince Eric that she is the girl whose voice he has been waiting for.

"If you have seen The Little Mermaid movie, this musical is that same story set live on stage. It includes classic songs like 'Under The Sea' and 'Part of Your World' along with characters like Ariel, Flounder, and Ursula. It is a show for the whole family!" says Scherer.
Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door one hour before the performance.

"We have a cast and crew of over 65 kids working on this show, and from the few rehearsals that I have had a chance to watch, audiences can expect great things," said Scherer.
