Jack is also a member of the firm's environmental social and governance practice and advises clients on the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives.
Jack has counseled clients on transportation issues, including federal motor vehicle safety standards and fuels licensing, as well as government ethics and campaign finance issues. Earlier in his career, he served as an attorney advisor to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Jack began his career as a trial attorney through the honors program at the DOJ's natural resources division in the environmental enforcement section. In that role, he represented federal agencies in complex litigation matters in several jurisdictions, involving CERCLA, the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act and the Bankruptcy Code. He successfully negotiated settlements and agreements in principle under the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act.
Prior to joining the firm, Jack was an associate at a leading international law firm.
