More than 430 students from grades 4-11 across 108 registered teams in LA County will be participating.

The Los Angeles County Office of Education will host the 40th Annual Math Field Day on Saturday, April 27 at San Gabriel High School. This exciting event brings together over 430 students from grades 4-11 across 108 registered teams in LA County for a day of friendly competition and exploration of mathematics.

What: The Math Field Day is a fun-filled event designed to promote mathematical reasoning, teamwork and celebrate the joy of mathematics!

• Student Competitions: Teams will demonstrate their knowledge in three rounds, testing their:

• Conceptual Understanding

• Problem-Solving Skills

• Application of Concepts and Procedures

• Mathchella! Math Festival: A vibrant festival offering interactive math games, activities, and challenges for all ages.

• Awards Ceremony: Recognition of individual and team achievements.

When: Saturday, April 27, 2024
7:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
