TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - Nighttime Lane Restrictions on NB I-295 Rescheduled
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) advises motorists that the lane restrictions on northbound I-295 between Airport Road and Rt 13 have been rescheduled for Monday, May 6th and Tuesday, May 7th. They were originally scheduled for the first of May. The lane restrictions will be in place from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am nightly.
This will be a full closure of northbound I-295. Traffic will be moved off of I-95 at Airport Road and then detoured to Rt 141 southbound to Rt 13 northbound to I-295.
This work is weather dependent. Motorists should use caution and expect minor delays in the area.
