Finishing Work Planned for this Sunday at Route 147 Washout in Reed Township, Dauphin County

Road was closed Aug. 9 by flood damage; reopened Aug. 24

Harrisburg, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a contractor will complete work this Sunday at a washout on Route 147 between Route 22/322 and Route 225 in Reed Township, Dauphin County. The road was closed Friday, August 9, due to flood damage and reopened Saturday, August 24.

Weather permitting, work will be performed from approximately 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, September 22. The contractor will install raised pavement markings (RPM's) and perform shoulder work. There will be lane restrictions under flagging.

This will complete repairs at this location.

New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company, Inc., is the contractor for this project.
