Today, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) invites you to register for the ICANN76 Community Forum in Cancún, Mexico and visit the dedicated website to learn more about the meeting.
ICANN76 will be held 11-16 March 2023 as a hybrid event with both in-person and virtual participation. All sessions will be conducted during regular working hours in Cancún (UTC-5 or Eastern Standard Time). Note that unlike most of the United States, Canada, and several northern border locations in Mexico, Cancún will not switch to Daylight Saving Time on 12 March 2023.
Registration for in-person attendance closes on 8 March 2023. Registration for virtual participation will remain open through 16 March 2023.
The full schedule for ICANN76 will be published on 17 February 2023.
To prepare for ICANN76, consider attending Prep Week. It will be held from 27 February to 1 March 2023. The Prep Week schedule will be published on 13 February 2023.
The health and safety of all community members and staff continues to be ICANN's key priority, and we will monitor national and international public health guidelines, including all updates from the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the local governments where ICANN staff is located, and the Mexican Government. We are also working closely with the Cancún Center, local authorities, and partner hotels supporting our event.
Amid the evolving global health situation, we continuously adapt our health and safety protocols. As a result, we have shifted from requiring visual proof of vaccination to a self-attestation process during event registration. In addition, wearing face masks while indoors will no longer be mandatory, but strongly recommended. ICANN will continue to provide complimentary face masks and COVID-19 test kits during registration check-in and throughout the event.
For more information, please consult our comprehensive health and safety protocols.
As with any travel destination, please review the travel safety guidelines for Cancún from your country's government or a reputable source like the U.S. State Department before registration and follow common-sense safety practices during your stay.
