Roddickton RCMP investigates number of suspicious fires and seeks public's assistance

Roddickton RCMP is seeking the public's assistance following a number of suspicious fires that have occurred in the community over the past few months. Police are asking residents to report any suspicious activities in the community, especially those that occur during the early morning hours.

The most recent suspicious fire occurred shortly before 4:30 a.m. on July 6, 2023. Police were dispatched to a shed fire on Cloud Drive. The shed, which was completely destroyed by the fire, backs on to a frequently used trail.
