Why is the Greenway Glowing in the Dark

As part of the City of Raleigh's efforts to think smart and be creative, employees from different departments are exploring cost-effective ways to improve visibility on greenways in low-light situations. We will be temporarily placing special tape that glows in the dark on a small section of the Crabtree Creek Trail at Industrial Drive between November 7-17. You probably won't notice the tape during the daytime, but during dusk and dawn, it will start to glow.
