Sun Prairie Junior High 1971 Time Capsule Opening

In 1971, the staff and students of the recently expanded Sun Prairie Junior High School at 160 South St. hid a time capsule in the walls of their building. This capsule was recovered during recent building demolition work and is ready for a public opening!

Join us for an event presented by the Historical Library and Museum in partnership with the Sun Prairie Area School District to find out what this time capsule contains. Members of the Sun Prairie High School classes of 1975 and 1976 and their families are especially encouraged to attend.

The capsule will be opened at 4:00pm with drop-in viewing until 6:00pm.
