“We plan to deliver 46,000 post-quake houses to our quake victims before the end of the year”

Addressing AK Party's parliamentary group meeting, President Erdoğan said: "As of next month, we will begin the delivery of the recently-constructed post-quake houses to their rightful owners. We plan to deliver 46,000 post-quake houses and village houses to our quake victims, the rightful owners of those houses, before the end of the year."

President and Justice and Development Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the party's group meeting at the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye.

Describing the incidents the people in Gaza have been through since October 7 in the face of the Israel's oppression as "a complete hell", President Erdoğan said: "Our 16 thousand brothers and sisters in Gaza, over 70 per cent of whom were women and children, have been martyred as a result of Israel's attacks. Over 35 thousand Palestinian brothers and sisters of ours have been injured. I remember with grace all the martyrs, and pray to Allah for a speedy recovery for the injured."

Noting that the two third of the buildings in Gaza have either been collapsed, damaged or become unusable, President Erdoğan stated: "The healthcare and education infrastructures in Gaza have been totally collapsed. Netanyahu, who has been conducting one of the gravest oppressions of the last century in Gaza, has already gone down in history as the "Butcher of Gaza". This black stain has been engraved on the forehead of not only Netanyahu, but also of those who are unconditionally supporting him. This stain of shame can by no means be removed. We will forget neither the crimes of humanity and of war committed in Gaza nor the indifference of western countries except for one or two. We will try all the current avenues in order for the Israeli administration to be held to account before international law as well as the conscience of humanity."

"Thanks to government incentives, there is an export and production mobilization, so to speak, throughout the entire Türkiye," President Erdoğan said, and added: "I would like to note that we consider this momentum, which we have achieved despite the difficulties in the global economy, the crises erupted in our region and the repercussions of the February 6 earthquakes, to be very valuable. We provide our business community with any support in order for this climate to grow stronger. We stand with our every entrepreneur that works focusing on investment, employment, production, exportation and innovation."

Also touching upon the ongoing works in the earthquake zone, President Erdoğan stressed that they will give every support to the firms that are selflessly working in the region to complete the post-quake houses on time, and noted: "As of next month, we will inshallah begin the delivery of the recently-constructed post-quake houses to their rightful owners. We plan to deliver 46,000 post-quake houses and village houses to our quake victims, the rightful owners of those houses, before the end of the year."
