Grant Money Won’t Go Down the Drain

With efforts to meet MS4 stormwater mandates set by the Department of Environmental Protection, Cranberry's ongoing focus on improving infrastructure stands to get a financial boost from Butler County.

The projects - the Glen Eden Water Shed Restoration Project and Pinehurst Drive Stormwater Culvert Project - would receive funding if the Board of Supervisors on Feb. 2 chooses to approve an agreement with the Butler County Municipal Infrastructure Program.

The funding is generated from Butler County's Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.

Details on those projects will be discussed in the coming months.
