Robbery Apprehension

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - On October 15, 2021 Virginia Beach Police Officerswere called to the 4500 Block of WicklowPlacefor reports of a food delivery driver being robbed. On October 17, 2021,at 1330 hours, officers were called to the 900 Block of South Clubhouse Road for reports of a2ndfood delivery driver being robbedunder similar circumstances.

An investigation determined that Jher'eMalik Brown(19)committed both robberiesand warrants were obtained on him for 2 counts of Robbery, 2 counts of Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felonyand 1 count of Carrying a Concealed Weapon.

Mr. Brown was arrested by the Virginia Beach Police Department Warrant Fugitive Unit on October 21, 2021and was remanded to the custody of the Virginia Beach Sheriff's Office.
