The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemns in the strongest terms the widespread and systematic confiscation and annexation of land and the expansion of settlements in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, carried out by the illegal Israeli occupation. Such illegal activities include the confiscation of hundreds of dunums of land in Tubas, Tulkarm, the Jordan Valley, as well as in Al-Mughayyer and Huson. In addition to the ongoing ethnic cleansing and forcible displacement of Palestinians in Masafer Yatta and the whole Palestinian Occupied Territory.
The Ministry reiterates the recent resolution adopted by the UN General Assembly (/ES-10/L.31/Rev.1) which oblige Israel, the illegal occupying power, to cease immediately all new settlement activities, and to dismantle the existing settlements, and to evacuate all settlers from the occupied Palestinian Territory.
The Ministry reaffirm that the Israeli settlement and their associated regime, including the transfer by Israel of settlers to the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, as well as Israel's maintenance of their presence and the confiscation of land, exploitation of natural resources, the extension of Israeli law to occupied territory, the forced displacement of the Palestinian population and violence by settlers and occupying forces against Palestinians are being maintained in violation of international law and constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity.
The Ministry holds the Israeli government and its extremist far right ministers and prime minister fully and directly responsible for the genocide and war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by Israel, the occupying power, in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and calls on the international community to hold them accountable for such crimes and incitement against Palestinians and to immediately implement the UN resolution recently adopted by the General Assembly (A/ES-10/L.31/Rev.1) in accordance with the recent Advisory opinion rendered by the International Court of Justice and not to recognize as legal the situation arising from the unlawful presence of Israel in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and not to render aid or assistance in maintaining the situation created by the continued presence of Israel in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and its apartheid regime.
