Maintenance at Swimmers Beach Car Park in Gracetown

The Shire will be completing annually scheduled maintenance to the Gracetown Swimmers Beach car park to improve amenity and function.

The works will involve large earth moving equipment to remove excess windblown beach sand, repair the car park entrance and surface, fill all potholes and improve drainage.

These works are currently scheduled to be completed within the first two weeks of November straight after the sealing of Cowaramup Bay Road Stage 1 whilst the Shires plant and resources are in the immediate vicinity. Updates to exact timing of works will be provided once determined and a multi message board will be placed at the location to forewarn beachgoers and residents.

The car park will be closed and monitored for the duration of works which will likely be two to three days dependent on the current condition at the time. Please plan to park elsewhere, use caution if in the area and drive slowly past this work site.
