Time to celebrate our neighbourhood houses

Neighbourhood House Week runs from Monday 13 to Sunday 19 May 2024. This year's theme is 'Stronger Together'.

Free events

There are 11 neighbourhood houses and community centres in Boroondara. Many venues are hosting come and try sessions to celebrate Neighbourhood House Week. Take a free trial, join a taster class and attend a range of activities.

• Information stall and demonstration exercise class - led by Hawthorn Community House - Visit Hawthorn Library complex on Thursday 16 May from 8 am to 6 pm to hear about the courses, groups, and events at Hawthorn Community House. There will be a Zumba Gold demonstration class at 12 pm. Free food and giveaways for children. For more information, contact Hawthorn Community House.
• Yoga Flow & Floor with Flip Shelton at Camberwell Community Centre - Join a free 45-minute yoga class, followed by a 15-minute Q&A session. All abilities welcome. Monday 13 May 12:15 pm to 1:15 pm. For more information, contact Camberwell Community Centre.
