Artur Hovhannisyan Meets with future lawyers of Eurasia International University

I am very glad to see you here, parliament-youth connection always should be firm and lasting: the Secretary of the Civil Contract Faction, the member of the NA Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs Artur Hovhannisyan said at the meeting with the students and lecturers of Eurasia International University on May 17.

The meeting was held in the atmosphere of active discussion. The students addressed many question, the wide scope of which mainly included the problems aimed with the right of the Nagorno Karabakh self-determination and status, the Azerbaijani anti Armenian policy, the return of prisoners of war and the regulation of the border situation.

Answering the students' questions, the deputy highlighted the right to living and acting of our compatriots of Artsakh, the agenda problems of ensuring and protecting their security, taking them out of blockade quick and secure.

Responding the students' question what steps are taken for improving the conditions of the servicemen's life and for raising the salaries, Artur Hovhannisyna singled out the RA law on Military Servicer and the Serviceman's Status, according to which, the contractual servicemen can voluntarily be attested and receive surcharge in case of passing it.

Artur Hovhannisyan spoke about the issues concerning the students - populating, developing the communities, also reaching the defense of the border settlements to a high level. "I would like to record that as a result of recent combat actions, we have great progress and considerable move for ensuring protected and reliable borders," the Secretary of the Faction said.

The MP expressed his gratitude to the students who took part in the 44-day war for fulfilling their duties before the homeland.
