Project is Located:

Project Description:

City of Ithaca is requesting a Scenic and Recreational River Permit to undertake improvements to the existing East Lincoln Street Extension, which is located within the Fall Creek and Ithaca Falls Recreational River area boundary. The East Lincoln Street Extension parcel is owned by the City of Ithaca and is a partially paved city street that provides access to gravel public parking adjacent to the Ithaca Falls. The use will not change. The applicant proposes improvements that include smoothing of the street grade, installation of asphalt pavement, and limited site grading adjacent to the street to accommodate the smoothed street pavement. The access to the existing public parking will be maintained and improved since the existing pavement is in poor condition. These improvements will provide access to the applicant's Lake Street Townhomes resident parking lot and emergency access for medical and fire vehicles

State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination:

Project is a Type I action for which coordinated review was completed by the Planning Board. A negative declaration is on file.
