The 2023 Keio Challenger Tournament, known officially this year as the "Yokohama Keio Challenger International Tennis Tournament 2023 supported by Mita Kosan," was held at Hiyoshi Campus's Mamushidani Tennis Courts from Sunday, November 19 through Sunday, December 3.

The men's competition is an official part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour. It is the sole ATP Challenger Tour hosted by a university and run by students. This event serves as a gateway for emerging athletes, many of whom have gone on to compete at the professional level in the four Grand Slam tournaments and Olympic Games. Reaching its 12th iteration this year, the tournament underwent a name change in recognition of its main sponsor, Mita Kosan. The women's competition, which was held in tandem with the men's tournament, is an official component of the International Tennis Federation Women's World Tennis Tour. Professional players from every region of the globe took part in both events.

Seven athletes from Keio University participated in this tournament. For the college-level athletes, this was a valuable opportunity to face off against players who have experience competing at the professional level. Furthermore, both the finals for the women's and men's competitions were broadcast live for the first time in the event's history on over-the-air television by BS Shochiku Tokyu (BS260ch). Throughout the tournament, students also took the lead in organizing the Junior Tennis School, tennis events for adults, a wheelchair tennis event, and tennis promotional activities in cooperation with Yokohama City.
