Request for Public Comments to Draft Request for Proposal

The City of Albany is soliciting public comments related to the draft Request For Proposal (RFP) to be issued by the City of Albany for selection of a contractor(s) for the design, permit, construction and operation of a transfer station for receipt of solid waste and recyclables generated within the City of Albany and the solid waste planning unit.
The draft RFP will be available on April 17, 2024. This draft RFP is issued pursuant to the provisions of New York General Municipal Law § 120-w. The City of Albany is soliciting public comments and questions on the draft RFP by July 12, 2024.

The draft RFP will be available on the following websites: http://albanylandfill.com/ and http://www.capitalregionlandfill.com/ and the City of Albany Department of General Services office at One Conners Boulevard, Albany, NY 12204.

Comments, clarifications and interpretations of the draft RFP are to be submitted in writing to Joseph Giebelhaus, City of Albany - Department of General Services, One Conners Boulevard, Albany, NY 12204 or E-mail to: [email protected]

The final RFP will be released in accordance with the timeline and regulations set forth in New York General Municipal Law § 120-w.
