City airport terminal inaugurated in SND

On the morning of May 17, the High-tech Industrial Development Zone City Terminal of Sunan Shuofang Airport was inaugurated in Suzhou New District (SND). The new city terminal is located at the Suzhou Shishan International Conference Center, which is to the west of Changjiang Road and to the north of Jinshan Road.

The terminal is equipped with self-service check-in machines and offers passengers in Suzhou chartered car service which has shortened the ride to the airport in Wuxi to about 30 minutes. In the future, it will also offer luggage check-in service.

Suzhou-Wuxi Bus Line 1, the first direct bus line between Suzhou and Sunan Shuofang Airport in Wuxi, was officially launched on Mar. 10. It is also the first route jointly operated by bus companies in the two cities, offering local residents a cost-effective and convenient transportation option. The opening of the new bus line is part of the efforts made by the two cities to promote the construction of an integrated transportation system in southern Jiangsu Province, which is expected to help facilitate the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region.
