The City of Pensacola invites the public to a ribbon cutting event on Thursday, May 25 to celebrate the opening of the Community Maritime Park Marina, which will provide daytime waterfront access points for boaters visiting Community Maritime Park, downtown Pensacola and surrounding areas.

The day use marina will open to the public at 6 a.m. Thursday, May 25, and the ribbon cutting event will take place at 3 p.m. The marina is located on the west side of Community Maritime Park at 301 W. Main St.

The marina will be open daily, with seasonal hours as follows:

  • March-October: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • November-February: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Community Maritime Park Marina features floating docks, 48 boat slips, kayak launch docks, kayak storage racks, a fishing weigh station and more. The project design was funded by the Community Redevelopment Agency and construction was funded by a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission grant.
