Bike Safety Workshop - 5/13

May is National Bike Month, a chance to showcase the many benefits of bicycling - and encourage more folks to giving biking a try. Whether you're riding for fun, fitness or with family, or taking essential trips to work or shop, you are part of the movement for safer streets, connected communities, a healthier planet, and happier people. To celebrate, the Village of Bensenville is hosting a Bike Safety Workshop! Click here to register!

The workshop will feature guest speaker Kimberly Messina, member of Ride Illinois volunteer, Elmhurst Bicycle Club Advocacy Co-Chair, and Licensed Cycling Instructor currently living in Lombard. An active cyclist for recreation and commuter transportation, I decided to enroll in the League of American Bicyclist's Instructor course to earn certification to teach Smart Cycling classes to children and adults. Strong advocate for safer biking and walking infrastructures, educating local communities on the need to ask and demand for such amenities which will improve quality of life for all.

Participants are invited to enter a raffle for two free memberships to the Elmhurst Bicycle Club!
