DVSA staff – industrial action next week

DVSA staff who are Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS) members will be taking industrial action next week.

Driving examiners and customer service agents will be taking industrial action on Thursday 8 and Friday 9 February.

DVSA staff contracted to work weekends will also take action on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 February.

DVSA said: "We do not expect this action by PCS to affect our heavy vehicle annual test (MOT) service, but we will not know for certain until strike action takes place.   

"Please continue to attend your annual test booking(s) as planned.   

"Our customer service centre might be affected by the strike action, and it may take longer than usual to answer your query. The customer service centre will be open from 8am to 4pm on 8 and 9 February."
