ANACOM launches consultation on draft ITED and ITUR assessment procedures

On 4 April 2024, ANACOM approved the draft assessment procedures for ITED (4th edition) and ITUR (3rd edition).

The purpose of these assessment procedures, together with the corresponding technical regulations and specifications, is to ensure that telecommunications infrastructure in buildings (ITED) and telecommunications infrastructure in housing developments, urbanisations and building complexes (ITUR) result in telecommunications infrastructure that is suitable for the services for which it is designed and that allows secure connection to electronic communications networks. Following the entry into force of the ITED 4th edition and ITUR 3rd edition manuals, it is necessary to amend and adapt the infrastructure assessment procedures, which are mandatory for installers.
