Eberly selected as the April Beacon of Light at Firelands

(Sandusky, Ohio) Natalie Eberly was selected as the Firelands Health April Beacon of Light. Natalie, a licensed social worker, is the case management coordinator for the Firelands Counseling & Recovery Services office in Tiffin.

The Firelands Beacon of Light is a program developed to recognize team members who exemplify and exhibit the values of Firelands Health in the form of exceptional attitude, commitment and enthusiasm (ACE). The award goes to individuals who ACE it every day for patients and co-workers.

Natalie's nomination exemplifies this dedication. "Natalie brings a positive attitude to our workplace. She is always willing to help, offer guidance or share her knowledge with others. She is a team player who is aware of the importance of working together to help our clients and our staff," the nomination read. "Natalie serves as a role model for others and demonstrates the right mindset and approach for her job and interactions with others. She has a genuine passion and excitement for her job and a strong work ethic that is highly respected. Natalie's enthusiasm in the workplace influences others and improves their day, which makes her valuable to the Firelands' team."

Natalie has worked at Firelands Counseling & Recovery Services for 36 years as a child and adolescent case manager, vocational rehabilitation coordinator, and most recently as the access specialist.

Natalie is passionate about working with individuals with mental health and substance abuse struggles. She serves on the board of directors for PatchWorks House and is the mental health liaison for the board of directors of Seneca-Crawford Area Transportation.

Outside of work, Natalie enjoys walking, exploring the outdoors, traveling, gardening, and hanging out with her cat, Clancy. She resides in Tiffin with her husband, Dennis.
